本日5月5日は「こどもの日」、そして「端午の節句」です。
本日は柏餅を食べたり、菖蒲湯に入ったりして、子どもの健やかな成長や家族の健康を願う日とされています
柏の葉は「代が途切れない」縁起物とされ、菖蒲はその強い香りで邪気を払うと信じられてきました。
当店では、こし餡・粒餡・みそ餡をそれぞれ包んだ白・緑・桃色の柏餅をご用意しております。

Today, May 5th, is Children’s Day—also celebrated as Tango no Sekku, a traditional Japanese festival to pray for children’s healthy growth and the well-being of the family.
On this day, it’s customary to eat Kashiwa Mochi and take a Shobu-yu (iris bath), both carrying symbolic meanings:
oak leaves represent family prosperity and continuity, while iris leaves are believed to ward off evil with their strong fragrance.
At our shop, we offer three types of Kashiwa Mochi:
white with smooth red bean paste, green with chunky red bean paste, and pink with sweet miso filling.
Celebrate the season with a taste of tradition and a moment of peace, wrapped in the flavors of Japanese wagashi.
